We took 26 Seniors this year on our annual Senior Trip to the Big Apple! After driving through the night on Thursday, students arrived in the City on Friday morning. They got the chance to stop by the Today Show window, hang out in Midtown Manhattan (including Rockefeller Center and Times Square), and check out the breathtaking views from the Top of the Rock! After a full day, we got settled in to the hotel, then did some shopping and relaxed at a movie while visiting a mall in New Jersey. Our fun-filled day on Saturday consisted of a guided city tour (including St. John’s Cathedral, the 9/11 Memorial, and more), followed by lunch and shopping in Chinatown and Little Italy. We rode the Staten Island Ferry, which took us past Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty, and Brooklyn, and gave us a picturesque view of the lower Manhattan skyline. We ended the day with an amazing performance of “Finding Neverland” on Broadway. Sunday morning brought us to the Guggenheim Museum, where we got to appreciate both architecture and art, before the long bus ride home. A good time was had by all! Check out our album to the right for some pictures from our trip!
