Our students have been learning the importance of getting involved and giving back to their communities. So, during the month of December, we provided them with plenty of encouragement and opportunity to do just that. These are some of the ways that our students gave back:

Buckhannon-Upshur, Doddridge, Webster, and Ritchie County students prepared Christmas cards for the WV Veteran's Nursing Facility.

Students from Doddridge, Liberty, Lincoln, RCB and South Harrison volunteered for the United Way's holiday gift-wrapping booth at the mall.

Lincoln students collected items for the Humane Society of Harrison County and spent some time volunteering there.

Webster County students sponsored a homeroom door decorating contest and donated the proceeds to the winner's nonprofit organization of choice.

We are very proud of all of their efforts!
